Sweet Dreams

The most forgotten outfit is usually the one we wear to sleep, but once I laid my eyes on these romantic, pretty, girly pieces... I've decided to ditch my T-shirt and boyshort combo forever! Enjoy!

1.Any Period film...mainly for the costumes....from the simplicity of Pride and Predjudice to the opulence of Marie Antoinette,they are just visually stunning to me.
2.Desserts... cupcakes, ice cream, cookies, I just love them all.
3.Ballet...enough said.
4.NYC... I await the day I can afford to own an apartment there.
5.Cold Weather...When I think of cold weather I think of big cozy sweaters, snow, fireplaces, christmas, and hot cocoa!

"Let Them Eat Cake"

One of my favorite films is Marie Antoinette. Not for the acting, not for the directing but for the costumes, hair and makeup...ugh I was born in the wrong era! Kirsten Dunst had over 60 gowns in the film... each one as beautiful as the next. Above are some of my favorite, although I was tempted to post all of them. Illumination

When it comes to decorating, there are few things I love more than lighting. A light can instantly change your mood and change a room. When it comes to my taste, I love lights that are terribly romantic and delicate. From the elegance of a chandelier to some more modern pieces: these are some of my favorites.

Foward Thinking...

I recently stumbled upon Oscar de la Renta's new fall 09 collection, and I'm really into alot of the pieces. I love the bold belt's and contrasting bright colors. I will definitely keep these in mind when I shop for my own fall wardrobe. The divine Pink creation was my absolute favorite.

Martha Martha Martha

I think Martha Stewart is a domestic goddess. Having said that I've recently found one of her cupcake recipies that I'm dying to try out.... a Tiramisu Cupcake!

Life en pointe

Ballet has always been and will always be one of the most beautiful things in the world to me. Having been a ballerina for 10 years myself, I've seen more than my fair share of gorgeous ballet costumes. And as tempting as it would be to go sauntering down the street in a full tutu..... it's not exactly practical. So to feed my tulle fix, I've found a few pieces that I can incorporate into my everyday life. I'm obsessing over the black and white dress. Tres Jolie!
